Thuringia, Switzerland, France, Leipzig.

    I had a great holiday time in September. I have visited many places. First of all I had a warm
    welcome in Thuringia with (warm!) plum cake.

    I bought new shoes and I cut my bangs.

    Then it was time to go to Switzerland. For welcome dinner we had a picnic.

    I said hello to the sheep and we had a walk to the Goetheanum.

    On the next day we visited Basel...

    ...and went to this nice independent cinema.

    The other day we visited Colmar, a sweet little town in France.

    Everything was very romantic.

    Back in Thuringia I had my beloved chocolate hedgehog.

    One day I spent in Leipzig with ice cream, cake and cafeteria food.

500 days of summer.

    Today I watched "500 days of summer" and I liked it a lot.

    It´s about a boy and a girl who are in love. Or maybe not?

    With Zooey Deschanel.

    Telling secrets.

    Having fun at Ikea.

    I want to be kissed in a copy room, too. I like the idea ;)

    Telling dreams.

    Feeling secure.

    Having day dreams about how it could be.

    Trying to make your dreams work...

    ...and don´t give up.

    Being absolutely hurt.

    ...

    Starting a new day.

My movie recommendations for Christmas: Tim Burton´s Nightmare before Christmas.

My next movie recommendation for Christmas time is Nightmare before Christmas (1993). It is a stop-motion-movie which is based on a story by Tim Burton.

This scene is very special, because it does not match to the rest of the film. Everything is glimmering and full of colors. I like this idyll.

Poor, poor Jack. He just wants to have a perfect Christmas. 

Every time I watch this film I think "Certainly this was much work". Everything was done with so much love. There are so many details, so many different figures and songs. 

Here is my first movie recommendation. 

My movie recommendations for Christmas: Alice in Wonderland.

I am a kind of freak with films for Christmas time. Every year in December I´m like a searching cat through the DVD shelves because I want to have a wonderful new "Christmas film". This is what I call it. There is a certain kind of movies that fits together perfectly with Christmas. It´s not like I sit there the whole time at Christmas and watch movies. But for example on 23th December in the evening I have a look at my selection of "Christmas films", pick one and have a cozy night with my movie characters. It´s a great love that connects me and movies.

Well, so here we start with my "Christmas movie" number one: Alice in Wonderland. 

Alice in Wonderland is a 1951 American animated feature produced by Walt Disney and based primarily on Lewis Carroll´s Alice´s Adventures in Wonderland (1865). The film was directed by Clyde Geronimi and Wilfred Jackson. 

I think the story is well know. But I want to show you some scenes.

The flower song is so amazing. Anyway I like the music from the fifties. Moreover, it is drawn so beautiful.

At this scene I sometimes have to cry. But have a look at all these little fantastic figures. Therefore I love this scene because it shows a variety of incredible creatures.

And there are many more great scenes. I could show the whole movie because I am so fascinated by it.

"Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" was the first film that I had to analyze in my film analytical seminar at the University. Oh I loved it, as I always loved it to analyze films. It´s like absolutely being in the movies. On this film, which is directed by Michel Gondry in 2004, I was working over Christmas in 2005. I really like the story between Clementine and Joel. They fall in love with each other for the second time. It´s like tingle in your stomach, being nervous and so happy. I hope everybody of you knows these feelings. And of course I love the cold, cold scenes when they are lying in the snow or Joel is in Montauk at the sea.
I have to watch it again. (This film was the first one that I bought myself on DVD.)

A new dress for Pedro.

Hej, hej out of my bathroom again. My new dress from Mango I was wearing about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I went with my friends to the new film from Pedro Almodóvar. It´s called "La piel que habito".
Unfortunately I only have a small mirror. So you only can see a part of my outfit.
