    A few days ago I got to know the artist Amy Judd, a London based artist, on Pinterest. Her pictures
    are about women, birds and mythology. I think it is really worth it to have a look at these natural but
    surreal paintings.

Pants. We need more pants!

Currently I like to wear pants, especially the high wasted ones. In the future I want to give them more space in my wardrobe and daily styling.

A world for a photographer.

    For me photography is like a second life. Something that takes you in other dimensions of feeling.
    Photography shows the possibility to expand your fantasy and thinking. Therefore I am always
    searching for (in my opinion) good pics. And this has nothing to do with quality in first place. It´s
    just about that you have to feel something, maybe going back in time and imagine words, odors or
    situations. I found this fantastic page with great artists.

Erinnerungen an damals.

In den letzten Tagen habe ich wieder viel an mein erstes Studienfach Kunstgeschichte denken müssen, das ich leider aufgrund meiner Latein-Schwäche nach drei Semestern habe aufgeben müssen. Neben der Filmwissenschaft habe ich dieses Fach wohl stets mit der gleichen, unerschütterlichen Leidenschaft studiert. Ich habe tief in meinen Fotoboxen gekramt und dieses Bild einer Exkursion nach Kassel von 2003 gefunden. Es zeigt mein Seminar mit unserem Professor Dr. Franz-Joachim Verspohl in der Neuen Galerie zu Joseph Beuys "The pack (Das Rudel)". Die Vorlesungen von Professor Verspohl habe ich, soweit es möglich war, auch noch besucht nachdem ich nicht mehr in Jena eingeschrieben war, so sehr haben sie mich in einen Bann gezogen.

Nun habe ich vor einigen Tagen gelesen, dass der Lehrstuhl "Geschichte und Ästhetik der Medien" in Jena droht abgeschafft zu werden. Insbesondere ist dabei das (MEIN) Studienfach Filmwissenschaft bedroht. Ich bin wirklich schockiert, dass immer erst bei Kunst und Kultur gespart wird und es eventuell bald meinen Studiengang in meiner Universitätsstadt nicht mehr geben wird. Ich hoffe, dass das nicht passiert, denn das Bewegtbild ist eine Kunst, die so viel Spannendes, Verborgenes und Geheimnisvolles mit sich bringt und die es einfach Wert ist, untersucht und studiert zu werden.

A few days ago I heard that my subject film studies should be abolished in Jena. I am very sad about this information and hope that this will not be happen because in my opinion it is absolutely worth it to study film.
